With all the different things we have going on in our lives — work, family time, social obligations, to just name a few — it can definitely be difficult to find the time to work on keeping our skin clear. Did you know, though, that there are four simple tips that can help keep your skin beautiful, even if it’s pretty clear now? The best part about these tips is that they’re pretty easy to follow and you might even be doing a few of them already! Plus, makeup application is so much easier when skin is lookin’ good and healthy which helps put your best face forward when you’re shooting your sexy boudoir photoshoot!
Drink lots of water! Drinking water helps rid your body of toxins that might build up due to a poor diet. Four to eight glasses a day should be your goal, but if it’s warm out, drink more. Without those good-for-nothing toxins in your body, your complexion will even out and your skin will look and feel healthier.
Establish an exercise routine. It’s no secret that regular exercise helps blood flow and circulation throughout the body. As a result, your skin will look healthier and will have a better glow. So whether you like hiking up the Incline, going to the gym, taking a run on a trail, zumba, skiing, or any combination of these activities, exercising is one of the best ways to establish and keep clear skin!
Avoid Fast Food
Stay away from fast food whenever possible. Eat healthy whenever possible. Prepare meals at home for when you’re at work, so you can avoid going out to eat. Focus on foods that are rich in antioxidants — these are not only great for your skin, but they’re also great for your health! The more you try to maintain a balanced diet, the better your skin will begin to look.
Get Enough Sleep
Be sure you get enough sleep! This is one of the biggest problems for many women. Most of us sleep much less than we should. Be sure to try to get 7-8 hours a night. When you get enough sleep, you’ll have less of a chance of developing under-eye bags and dark circles. Plus, sleeping also gives your skin to nourish itself. Remember to sleep on your back to avoid any wrinkles!
